π¨π³πΊπΈ China cuts US Treasury holdings to an 18-year low
β’ China has been reducing its holdings for over a decade, down from around $1.3 trillion in the early 2010s to $618 billion today.
β’ The decline accelerated after 2022 as China became more concerned about relying too heavily on US assets.
β’ Foreign governments are buying fewer US Treasuries, while hedge funds and other investors are buying more.
β’ Weaker foreign demand is helping push Treasury yields higher, with the 30-year yield recently hitting a nearly 20-year high.
β’ Higher yields mean the US government has to pay more to borrow money.
@DotCSV para mi una prueba definitiva es que aprenda y desarrolle algo nuevo sobre la marcha, algo que no simplemente lo sepa hacer sino que aprenda a hacer algo nuevo. β¨
@XScharo I really feel like you're a good person and I'm not saying this to win something, thanks for everything...π

A giant leap to Mars! π
NASA recently completed testing of a lithium-fed electromagnetic thruster, reaching 5x more power than today's electric propulsion systems. Paired with a nuclear power source, this tech could slash travel time to Mars!
