I didn’t tear up until I went back and watched this video of Josh Turek pulling his wheelchair up the stairs to talk with a neighbor.
How do you not root for a guy like that?
🚨🇲🇽 BREAKING — New images show Mexico's RELENTLESS TRAIN EXPANSION.

"You hear words like 'the GOAT,' or 'icon,' or 'legend.' And they're thrown around way too easily these days. But Ernie is all three and more. I'm 65 years old, and I still look up to Ernie Johnson as a broadcaster and a man."
- Mike Breen to open the 76ers-Pacers ESPN broadcast
It's a mostly meaningless tribute in a sea of them but when I had the distinct privilege to work at Turner Sports EJ took an interest in the ELEAGUE project after our Inside The NBA crossover intro. I couldn't believe that a legend of broadcasting was not only interested in esports but interested in me and my work. Before my first show he told me not to worry, to be confident, that he had seen out work and new it was good. In reality all we were ever trying to do was copy what he had built at the Inside The NBA desk. Hell, that vibe was why we made it to Turner over the first place.
Over the two years or so we filmed right next door to Inside and I had the pleasure to not only watch EJ work but also talk to him between tapings. Don't believe people when they say "never meet your heroes." This incredible man went beyond anything you could have ever imagined.
I will always treasure that time but a big part of those memories is that EJ put us over with the NBA guys. I hope he gets everything he wants out of his next chapter of his life because he gave me everything I could have wanted out of the best chapter of mine.
The Saints once again looked like the best team in football for 2 quarters, but one of the worst the other 2 quarters. That encapsulates this entire season so far - and it’s completely unsustainable.
It feels like there is a constant lack of preparation, particularly early in games. Also seems to be a lack of attention to detail: bad penalties, unforced errors, and questionable coaching decisions such as taking starters out and then almost losing.
I’m happy we won but it’s hard to feel very positive about this team other than the fact that we have our QB and some good pieces around him.
The fact that we went from "Wikipedia is not a legitimate source of information" in school to "Just ask AI / ChatGPT to get it done" is actually really insulting to me frankly
Kellen Moore making a great case for joining Matt Nagy, Adam Gase, and Kliff Kingsbury in the ranks of upjumped OCs who have no business running a team.
