On this day in 1967, Thurgood Marshall was sworn in as the first Black justice to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States.
Justice Marshall served on the United States' highest court for 24 years, leaving an enduring legacy in the pursuit of equality and justice.
Years earlier, he argued the landmark 1954 case Brown v. Board of Education, in which the Supreme Court ruled that racial segregation in public schools was unconstitutional.
His life and work helped pave the way for a more equal America, and his legacy continues to inspire us today.
It took "courage" to strip women of their most basic human right?
It took "courage" to tell women what they can do with their own bodies?
What an absolute irredeemable POS.
Just sick and gross and ugly and evil.
Celebrate with me. My niece, a 4.0 honor student and high school senior, has crossed off Cornell from her list of universities she’d like to attend next year.
Why now?
Georgia’s Republican-controlled State Election Board is asking the Trump administration to intervene in the state’s voting system less than two weeks before early voting begins.
The timing is extraordinary.
A major change to election machinery. A federal intervention. And the clock already running on voting.
Maybe there is an innocent explanation.
But when something this consequential happens this close to an election, the timing itself demands answers.

I don’t bring personal stuff in here often. But if you guys could keep me and my family in your prayers that would be awesome. My father has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and we were just told he has 24-72 hours left. This one is going to really hurt.
“If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.”
“Do you think Trump will apologize?”
“When pigs fly, maybe.” 🐷 🐖
There were no reflecting pool vandals.
Trump’s lies are endless.
>Massie pursues obscure libertarian issues.
I focus on inflation, war, food, child sex trafficking.
>Massie never gets anything done.
I get 3 million Epstein files released.
>Massie fixated on Epstein files!
I get PRIME (beef) Act in House Farm Bill
>GOP shuts down House
Just a heads-up: This nearly 5,000-word deep dive proving that Kushner used his position to hop into bed with autocrats is neither "false" nor "misleading."

It blows my mind that some people are too stupid to figure this out. Apparently we have a lot of people in this Country with zero critical thinking skills.
Trump fired Western Washington's U.S. attorney less than an hour after he was sworn in.
Today a judge put him back. The president doesn't get to ignore the law to install his loyalists. This is a win for our democracy.
