I am Badger Boo cat. I live with my sister Molly, our sister in spirit Lucy, mum and big man, in our flat of adventure. Molly & I think we have wheels 😻😺😼
We cannot let the @Telegraph get away with their role in this.
Not only did they not investigate the source of their polls, they also falsely claimed they were theirs!?
That’s not journalism, that’s propaganda
🚨 Ten years after the referendum, the costs keep mounting.
The Independent reports a new DCMS study finding that, from 2022–2024 alone, reduced EU touring attributable to Brexit meant:
£208 million lost to the UK creative sector
2,490 UK jobs lost
and reduced touring by British musicians cost EU economies an estimated £1.04 billion. Smaller and mid-sized tours were disproportionately hit.
The report’s conclusion is important too: removing or reducing the post-Brexit touring barriers would produce economic and cultural gains for both Britain and the EU.
The media are desperate to pretend that Farage isn’t the establishment, so i’ve written an article explaining why he is.
Can we get it shared 1000 times??
Thanks 🙏
The only 3 people to benefit from Brexit were
Johnson - got prime minister
Farage - got a cult following
Putin - got a weaker UK and Europe.
The rest of us got a poorer, more divided country with less rights and freedoms.
Plus now we know reform were on the Russian take.
✅ Always read beyond the headline.
The Times declares: *Net zero rush fails to cut energy bills.*
The honest headline would be: *Britain’s broken electricity market prevents consumers benefiting fully from cheaper renewable power.*
Yet the article confirms (see continuation in next tweet) that gas used to set Britain’s electricity price about 90% of the time and now does so around 60%, with a further fall expected by 2030.
Even Civitas’s own report author says bills can be reduced without prejudicing net zero, through better planning, regulatory reform and intelligent use of Britain’s energy resources.
So the real story is not that renewable energy has failed.
It is that Britain’s broken market still allows expensive gas to determine the price even when cheaper renewable electricity is generating and governments have loaded infrastructure and policy costs onto bills.
Fix the market. Build the grid and storage. Stop using net zero as a scapegoat for decades of political failure.
To all Reform UK supporters,
You DO NOT get PIP for anxiety.
You DO NOT get PIP for ADHD.
You DO NOT get PIP for Schizophrenia, Autism, being in a wheelchair.
You get PIP for how a disability impacts you.
Hope this helps to stop you spouting hate filled nonsense in the future.
Reform want to remove crucial benefits and the NHS form the British people.
Real patriots vote for good things for all, and those in need. They don’t demonise sick and disabled people.
They must be stopped! 🇬🇧🏴☕️🫖🗑️🫵
Ed Davey, "The small boats crisis has been caused by Reform UK and the Conservatives, and their Brexit support"
"Before we left the EU we could return people and now we can't"
"But if we join the EU’s Migration and Asylum Pact, we could return every single person who came over on a small boat"
"That would recreate the deterrent effect we used to have"
"Labour's one-in-one-out scheme has failed. Only 4% of people who came over on small boats have returned. We want it to be 100%'
"That's why our scheme would work, it would get the number down to zero, and it would say the taxpayer billions"
"This is a deal that Labour must look at"
"And I'm afraid Reform UK and the Conservatives should hang their heads in shame for having caused this problem and now exploiting it"
🇺🇸🇺🇸🧐🤔“AND YOU STILL DARE TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH…”
Sasha Legerman: This is too accurate not to share.
This Australian’s response to Trump’s rant that “NATO does nothing for America” is absolutely devastating:
“Mate. You run a country where 600,000 homeless people will sleep on the streets tonight.
A country where 40% of adults can’t cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money.
A country where insulin costs more than a car payment, and people ration it just to stay alive.
A country where medical debt is the number one cause of bankruptcy.
A country where women die in hospital parking lots because doctors are too afraid of abortion laws to treat miscarriages.
You imprison more of your own citizens than any country on Earth.
More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea.
In the land of the free, 2 million people sit in cages, and a quarter of them haven’t even been convicted of anything.
They’re simply too poor to afford bail.
Your life expectancy is declining. You’re the only developed nation where that’s happening.
Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba’s.
Your children practice active shooter drills between math and English classes while you sell defense stocks to your friends.
Your minimum wage hasn’t changed in 15 years.
Your teachers work two jobs, your veterans sleep under bridges, and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that never attacked you.
And now a convicted criminal — found liable for sexual abuse, defending a pedophile, sleeping with a porn star, and running the biggest dumpster-fire campaign since the Taliban — is thanking you for yet another disaster.
And you call Greenland badly governed?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world.
Nobody there goes bankrupt because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because insurance refused treatment.
‘NATO wasn’t there when we needed them.’
When exactly was that, champ?
September 11?
Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU.
Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU.
Australia wasn’t even in NATO, and we still showed up. For twenty years.
And then you left at 2 a.m. without telling anyone and left everybody else to clean up the mess.
You don’t care that a great nation is being terrorized by your friend, and you haven’t shown it a single ounce of sympathy.
So maybe before calling other countries badly governed, take a look at your own backyard, you aluminum siding salesman with a spray tan.
The only thing badly managed in this picture is your damn mouth.
And you still dare to lecture the rest of the world?”
🚨 We spend endless political energy raging about people crossing Britain’s borders.
Where is the equivalent outrage about illegal and substandard meat and food crossing them?
Food that can carry animal disease or present a public-health risk doesn’t just threaten an individual farm. It can threaten livestock, consumers and an entire domestic food industry.
Meanwhile asylum seekers are treated as though they are Britain’s greatest border-security threat, many of whom ultimately want to live, work, pay taxes and contribute here.
If politicians are genuinely obsessed with taking back control of our borders, perhaps they could start controlling what food crosses them.
Biosecurity is border security.
Food security is national security.
🇬🇧 So much for Brexit taking back control ‼️
Donald Trump is threatening Britain with 100% tariffs unless our government changes a British tax on American Big Tech.
His trade representative says the threat is not a bluff.
This is what Brexit fundamentally mis-sold about sovereignty.
Sovereignty isn’t merely possessing the legal right to make your own decisions. It’s possessing enough power to defend those decisions when a much larger country tells you to change them.
Inside the EU, Britain helped wield the economic power of a market of 450 million people.
Outside it, we negotiate with America alone.
Brexit gave away the power and protection that made us safe - we left the herd and now get picked off by big predators.
@MoetTheDog@braynework@MrMatthewTodd I have stopped watching or listening to TV/Radio weather reports because the weather affects my health greatly and I don't need reminding of this, so I went over to app based predictions so I can plan my day by the hour.
🚨 Former MI6 chief Sir Alex Younger delivered brutal Brexit truths last year:
“Putin would’ve been absolutely delighted by our decision [to leave the EU] and so would Xi.”
“We’ve made ourselves irrelevant.”
“France has effectively eclipsed us.”
“Brexit has marginalised us.”
Brexit wasn’t Britain taking back control. It was Britain voluntarily surrendering influence, while Putin and Xi watched with delight.
Your government is what made us all fall out of love with Britain.
You sold everything off and underinvested in everything.
Nothing works and now the fascists are gaining ground.
You Tories did this.
@Nirox3@mybestboyCooper@mhdksafa I think you have hit the nail on the head, it's in the sentencing mechanism. People need to see harsher sentences for rape/murder/ pedo type crimes going down for life. Then make the lifetime sentence exactly that, never to see the light of day.
