@firstdogonmoon A magpie harassed me out of my cheese sandwich at lunch today. I told it I didn’t feed wild birds, it wasn’t good for it, and magpies eat insects and frogs and things and my sandwich was made of bread and cheese but it STOOD OVER ME until I caved and gave it some crusts

@BlairWilliams26 @handonthepulse The Great Ocean Road is a glorious drive with lots of places to stop (and shop - and eat!) and the Limestone Coast is not to be sneezed at either 😊 Avoids a lot of road trains too. It is a long way though if you’re on your own and on a tight timeline 😞

@jennyrae I needed antibiotics in Hong Kong. Asked hotel staff about a doctor and they sent me off to the hospital. The ER staff insisted I see a specialist. Two hours later I’d seen an
orthopaedic surgeon and was walking out with my little bag of drugs. Total cost, about $60 Australian

@Virgcatt I used to get insulin for our diabetic cat from the chemist. The dispensing label had his name on it as Tiger (Cat), just to make sure we didn’t confuse him with anyone else named Tiger in the house 🐯

@shesbonky Went grey early and dyed it for years but it grew so fast, I was always chasing to cover up the roots. I stopped dying it a few years ago once I thought I had enough grey coverage. Growing out the skunk stripe was hard but so worth it. I love my grey hair!

@sarahvmac We did it at primary school lunchtime discos in the mid 70s. I don’t remember learning it in PE (just a lot of square dancing) - we picked it up from copying each other
