@cnewtalk @PokerNews @msptpoker @RunAcesPoker This is a great post Chris. We can all have a role in improving this. Thoughts, birthday boy,@ChadAHolloway, @PokerNews, @msptpoker? Other players?

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

@cnewtalk @PokerNews @msptpoker @RunAcesPoker If you are a veteran player, make sure you introduce yourself to the reporter and see if he/she would like help with names/hands at your table. When you see an opportunity, help a newer player get recognition.

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

@cnewtalk @PokerNews @msptpoker @RunAcesPoker There are things that we as players can do to help. We can agree to reduce the prize pool to cover a second reporter (worth discussing …) but this has some practical logistics associated with it. Another thing we can do is help the reporter.

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

@cnewtalk @PokerNews @msptpoker @RunAcesPoker We can ask @msptpoker @PokerNews @RunAces etc to bear the cost of a second reporter but they are running businesses and it’s not easy to justify the extra cost (poker players still coming in record numbers).

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

@cnewtalk @PokerNews @msptpoker @RunAcesPoker These are legitimate concerns. But we have a logistics issue. The fields are twice as big as they used to be and we have only one reporter (which is pretty standard for other @PokerNews covered tours/events).

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

@RunAces @msptpoker loved the Friday/Saturday noon start times and the 40 minute dinner breaks. For the first time in a long time I didn’t feel like stamina was going to be an issue. Congrats on another well run tourney.

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

Good luck to all @msptpoker Day 2 players at Running Aces today. Great to see a lot of old friends this week!

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

Fun time catching up with an old friend at the poker table yesterday ⁦@CanterburyPark⁩ Fall Poker Classic. He busted with AQ. I think that’s called a whammy! ⁦@SammyWhammies⁩

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

@ObesePuppy I will see you there. GL

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

@larson_mark I have two pairs of those. What’s your point?

[Mark Larson @larson_mark]

When the guy next to you is wearing these, you know you’re in a Senior tournament

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

@MNPokerUpdates Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I am back in Minnesota permanently, Steve, so you’re stuck with me!

[Mark Hodge @Bookmark58]

@AllAmericanDave Thanks for keeping us healthy these last few years. I donate my balance as well towards your next endeavor.
