Came back from winter break to this note at school. @kateklise does this mean we need to read “Regarding the Sink” for next year’s Ridgeway One Read! 😂
To conclude the Ridgeway One Read, students created a fountain complete with flowers, fish, and statues. Inspired by @kateklise Regarding the Fountain!
Did you miss last night’s reading? Come to the Media Center before school! A question from pages 1-15 will be on the announcements this morning. #RidgewayOneRead
Excited to announce this year’s Ridgeway One Read is Regarding the Fountain by @kateklise! Loved getting to share the story of why I chose this special book with my students.
Catching up on the Kelly Yang @BookBreak4Schls author visit from a few weeks ago. So exciting to hear from one of our favorite authors! Thank you @kellyyanghk!
Sat in the car during my lunch break to finish this one up. Only time I’ve ever read a book from the perspective of a seed fluff- Brian Selznick is an author unlike any other. The combo of narrative and drawings is stunning as always. #bookaday
@donalynbooks changed the way I approached literature with my students when I was in the classroom and has been part of my journey as a reader and educator over the last decade. Meeting her in person was inspiring and a reminder of the importance of my role as media specialist.
