This is not a state campaign rally.
This is just the inauguration of IREWOLE APC canvassers for AMBO in Osun State
No rented crowd from Ibadan, but pure grassroots people.
Adeleke supporters don’t know what's coming for them😀🫵🏻
OSUN STATE Matters Arising 🚨
How does an interior decoration company win a N99.5B airport contract?
How did Ekiti and Ogun deliver functional airports for less than half that amount?
Why has Osun spent N25B on an airport with no tangible results?
Gov. Ademola Adeleke’s administration owes Osun people answers.
Taxpayers fund these projects. They deserve transparent accounting, not excuses.

Osun Accord Party is so scared of losing the gubernatorial election in Osun State; they have resorted to attacking APC members. This is the political office of Hon Lekan Badmus in Osogbo. The international community should pay attention to this. Cc @UKinNigeria@USinNigeria.

I visited Ile-Ife with a heavy heart to commiserate with our party Chairman in Osun State, Alhaji Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, over the painful loss of his beloved wife; Alhaja Fatimah Oreoluwa Lawal.
This moment is deeply sobering, not just for him and his immediate family, but for all of us in the All Progressives Congress family who share in this grief.
Losing a loved one leaves a void that words can hardly fill, and I can only pray that Almighty Allah grants her Aljanah Firdaus, and comforts those she left behind.
In times like this, our strength lies in standing together, offering not just words, but presence, prayers, and sincere support.
My thoughts and prayers remain with Alhaji Lawal and his family. May Allah grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. This is indeed a trying time for us all in Osun. However, I am confident that with faith and unity, we will find the strength to carry on.
Today at the Ikire Central Mosque, the Ikire Muslim Community (IMC) held a solidarity prayer in my honour ahead of the August 15 Osun State election.
It was inspiring to witness the strong show of faith, unity, and support from leaders, supporters, and well-wishers who gathered to pray for wisdom, strength, and success on this journey.
Moments like this reflect a growing belief in a shared vision for a better Osun State. This movement continues to gain strength, powered by hope and collective commitment.
Yesterday, I joined the Muslim Ummah at the Annual Ramadan Lecture organised by Sheikh Olorunlalaaro Arowosadini Agba in Ikirun. The gathering provided opportunity for deep reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal during this sacred month.
The lecture, delivered by Sheikh Muhyiddin Salman Hussein Al-Imam, the revered Chief Imam of Offa, was profoundly enlightening. His message centered on righteousness, accountability, and the essence of leadership anchored in the fear of Almighty Allah. He reminded us that Ramadan is not merely about fasting from food, but about purifying the heart, disciplining the soul, and recommitting ourselves to truth and justice.
As I sat among the congregation, I reflected deeply on the responsibilities that come with service. Leadership is a trust from Almighty Allah and from the people, one that demands sincerity, humility, and unwavering commitment to the common good. Moments like this strengthen my resolve to align every action with faith, integrity, and compassion.
As we progress in this month of unquitifiable favour, may Almighty Allah accept our supplications, fasting and prayers, and guide our steps aright. I pray that Almighty Allah will grant us the wisdom to serve humanity with honesty and fairness. Ameen.
Earlier today in Abuja, the National Secretary of our great party, Dr. Ajibola Basiru and I paid a strategic courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO).
Our discussion was productive and forward-looking. It was largely focused on the forthcoming governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun States. We deliberated on strengthening party unity, consolidating grassroots structures, and reinforcing the progressive ideals of the All Progressives Congress.
The engagement further solidified our shared commitment to strategic collaboration, disciplined coordination, and ensuring victory through people-centered leadership and purposeful governance.
Earlier today in Osogbo, I joined the National Secretary of our great party, Senator Ajibola Basiru (@DrSRJ_), PhD, and other notable personalities at the 5th Annual Ramadan Lecture organised by Altasnim Initiative for Social Development.
Ramadan is not only a season of fasting, but a season of reflection, discipline and renewed commitment to service. The gathering provided a moment to engage with scholars, community leaders and residents on the values of unity, compassion and responsible leadership, principles that must guide us beyond this sacred month.
I commend the organisers for sustaining this impactful initiative over the years. May this period strengthen our resolve to build a more peaceful, just and prosperous Osun for all.
Yesterday, my leader, Dr @GboyegaOyetola, CON, and I had the distinct honour of being received by our leader and father, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT), GCFR, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa. Our meeting was deeply reassuring and forward-looking.
At the meeting, I expressed my profound appreciation to Mr President and Commander-in-Chief for his support, statesmanship, leadership and unwavering commitment to the ideals of progressive governance that continue to shape our great party and nation.
As we prepare for the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, I am further strengthened by the Mr President’s enduring belief in my capacity and in the principles of purposeful leadership, economic renewal and people-centered development. Mr President's vision for a prosperous Nigeria remains a guiding light for us at the state level.
With this meeting, I am more determined and committed to consolidating our party’s unity, deepening grassroots engagement, and presenting a clear, actionable blueprint that will reposition our state for sustainable growth and shared prosperity.
The journey ahead is one of responsibility, courage and service. Together, we will build the Osun of our collective aspirations.
I received the news of the transition of our revered Kabiyesi - an elder statesman and astute professional, Akire of Ikire, Oba Olatunde Falabi, Lambeloye lll, with a rude shock. Oba Falabi was no just a monarch but a symbol and pillar of peace, unity and cohesion. Kabiyesi was indeed a unifier on all fronts and an an epitome of royalty, integrity, character, discipline and dignity.
Baba was known as disciplinarian who served his Creator and humanity diligently.
As the custodian of our culture, tradition, norms and heritage, Oba Falabi's outstanding performance and transformative achievements in his over three decades reign can not be overemphasized. It is on record that Kabiyesi's reign witnessed unprecedented developments in Ikireland and its environs as his indelible imprints continue to live on. He was a father to all regardless of sociopolitical or economic affiliations which have continued to engender peace, unity, stability, cohesion and tranquility in our land.
As Baba's indellible legacies continue to live, he would no doubt be remembered for his innate virtues of selflessness, dedication, commitment and compassion that have successfully taken Ikire to enviable heights in the global map of reckoning.
On behalf of my family and the entire All Progressives Congress ( APC) in Ọsun State, I condole the immediate family, sons and daughters of Ikire, entire Ikire royal family, Ikire traditional council, residents of the ancient town and members of Osun State Council of Obas on the demise of our father, Akire of Ikireland, and I pray that God Almighty will console and grant every member of the family the fortitude and strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Today, I presented my Certificate of Return from the All Progressives Congress to my Royal Fathers; the Akire of Ikire, Oba Olatunde Falabi Lambeloye III and the Alapomu of Apomu, Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi as their son who has emerged as the candidate of the APC in the 2026 governorship election in Osun.
The visits to the Royal Fathers were not merely political; they were moments of gratitude and humility. Ikire is my home, and Apomu remains a home to every Ikire sons and daughters. Therefore, receiving the royal blessings of our revered monarchs affirms the deep cultural bond between our communities and strengthens my resolve to continue to serve with responsibility and honour.
Once again, I appreciate the leadership and members of the APC for the confidence reposed in me through a transparent primary process. With the prayers, guidance, and support of our royal fathers and our people, I am committed to pursuing a campaign anchored on unity, peace, and purposeful leadership.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
On this blessed occasion of Maulud Nabbiy, I felicitate the Muslim Ummah in Osun State and across the world. The birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is not only a moment of joy but also a profound reminder of the timeless principles of justice, accountability, mercy, and service to humanity which He lived and preached.
As a people, we must allow the Prophet’s exemplary life to guide our individual and collective actions, especially in building a society founded on fairness, honesty and compassion. His teachings remind us that leadership is a trust, and governance must be rooted in sincerity, transparency, and service to all.
In Our dear State, this celebration calls us to reflect deeply on the need for unity, purposeful leadership, and people-centered development. We must recommit ourselves to building a State where resources are managed responsibly, opportunities are created for our youth, and the welfare of every citizen is prioritised.
As we mark this Maulud, let us strengthen our faith, renew our hope and work together to secure a future of peace, progress, and prosperity for Osun and Nigeria at large.
May Almighty Allah accept our prayers, guide our leaders aright, and grant us the wisdom to follow the noble example of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
Eid Maulud Mubarak.
