Today was a momentous day for me as I took the oath as a member of the federal House of Representatives. It was a day of great significance for me and my family, made all the more poignant by the fact that it was exactly three years since my father passed away. To pay tribute to him, I chose to wear Enyi printed nweyi Ukwu attire, a nod to his title of Enyi Abia. 

As I stood there, taking the oath of office and pledging to serve my country to the best of my abilities, I couldn't help but think of my father. I know he would have been proud of me and all that I have accomplished. He always instilled in me the importance of hard work, dedication, and service to others, and these values have stayed with me throughout my life. 

Being sworn in as a member of the 10th assembly is a great honor and I will work tirelessly to serve my constituents and uphold the values of our great nation. I am filled with a sense of duty and responsibility, knowing that I have been given the trust and faith of the people I represent. 

While today was a celebration of my achievements, it was also a bittersweet day. I miss my father dearly and wish he could have been here to witness this momentous occasion. However, I take comfort in knowing that he is watching over me and guiding me from above. 

Today will be a day that I will never forget. It was a day of celebration, gratitude, and remembrance. I am honoured to serve in the federal House of Representatives and will do my utmost to live up to the trust placed in me by the people.
