Pakistan’s Interior Ministry has directed provincial authorities to begin immediate action against Afghan nationals residing in the country without valid visas from July 10 under the Illegal Foreigners’ Repatriation Plan (IFRP).

Provinces have been instructed to coordinate with district administrations and law enforcement agencies and submit daily implementation reports starting July 11. Since the campaign began in 2023, more than two million Afghans have reportedly returned or been deported.

🇵🇰🇨🇳 Pakistan and China have signed a deal to build a lithium-ion battery plant in Karachi's Korangi Industrial Area. Initial output will be around 2,000 batteries per month. Production is expected to begin in the next two to three months.
