@BenOsick this is a convo that art careers require 6+ hours per day of studying for years to BREAK in. I know a number of people who have broken in w/o doing that. its doomerish and disingenuous to lie to young people that its a requirement to put in time that most people just dont have

@BenOsick 1. an artistic career is a combo of talent, persistence, and a lot of luck. 2. no one is going into the arts expecting wealth, liveable wages should be the minimum. 3. ur argument only validates exploiting artists. it’s a structural problem, and it has gotten much worse with AI
