All lines have 30 years old units often made of 2-3 cars use to be singles at peak times between Cardiff and Portsmouth etc.

It’s frustrating never having enough carriages or trains fit for purpose. Even if DfT approved new trains they won’t provide additional capacity.

@UU_Ess_Pee MP pay rises are a joke , they are paid enough, they get expenses paid, cheap food and drink. Not only do they get a higher pay rise they also use different inflation index’s for repayments. E.g gov use CPI , Student loans - RPI

@BathBytes Honestly absolutely think it looks awful. Whilst it’s better than tigers , it just doesn’t appeal to me. Castore either have a great deal because the club really need to ditch them. I’d take the puma camouflage kit over this.

@thegirlchlo_ 100% agreed the cuts that were pushed through in 2022 and reduction in overall workforce head count and increased load is to be blame. Also TME’s and SM’s at NWR need to review their asset registers and CRT’s.

@PL_UK_25 @PolitlcsUK Wrong , short sections around Switches & crossings or old sidings / branch lines still open rarely used have jointed track. The rest have CWR - welded rail. Critical rail temperatures in this heat won’t be high enough so we need a higher SFT.

Having worked for NWR , in 2022 the gov forced a reduced workforce, manage with less , fewer skilled employees for work and over worked.

@RugbyTigers They must have the most lucrative kit deals , they are like football shirts , don’t feel great and won’t last a season. Most of us Bath supporters keep with old shirts. Have to wait and see if tigers will boot them out like others.
