Such a privilege to hear all about the achievements of old scholar Philip Noel-Baker and what an honour for these year 6 pupils to hold his Nobel Peace Prize. #BoothamProud @BoothamSchool

A frosty winter walk for Year 2 this morning before they quizzed our new headteacher, Deneal Smith, at Senior School. Question of the day: 'But what do you actually do?'

[Helen Todd @boothamjunhead]

@BoothamOutdoor @BoothamJunior A delicious cooked breakfast to start our day, thanks @StablesideYork

Almost ready for bed at the year 2 residential. Film in pj's to end the day.

Amazing to see so many inspirational young people and educators gathering from across the world. Great possibilities for new junior school partnerships. #global education

[Chris Jeffery @CPJeffery]

Glad to see a Quaker education -and its goal to educate young people to create as better world- getting exposure in Parliament this afternoon in the light of @BoothamSchool's Quaker Education Conference at the weekend.

What glorious weather for a residential with friends.

[Outdoor Ed @BoothamOutdoor]

Our little re-cap of the day was full of stories about the HUGE stepping stones and the fun they all had crossing them.

[Helen Todd @boothamjunhead]

Beautiful moment of quiet contemplation in the middle of a busy residential. #quakereducation

Sometimes you don’t need to say much…

Lovely to receive an update from a recent @boothamjuniorschool tea party guest about their potted lavender gift!

Our BEAST team tirelessly nurtured these cuttings ready for last Friday's event -we hope it goes from strength to strength as it's loved by all pollinators.

[Helen Todd @boothamjunhead]

After a full day outside, Year 1 had a great supper at Big Bootham and we've ended our day sharing bedtime stories (and an arm wrestle) with @boothamboarders.

A fab end to a great week with year 4. Well done to you all!

We have only just launched our Bootham School Earthquake Appeal for the DEC but already people are being so generous. Here is our @JustGiving page where you can find more info. Thank you! #boothamcommunity https://t.co/C3PVgBvr1i

Tummies full of hot chocolate, so now it's storytime before bed.

[Helen Todd @boothamjunhead]

Fab outdoor day with our lovely group of Year 2s on residential.

[Outdoor Ed @BoothamOutdoor]

There is something really cool about being taught new skills, especially when the teacher is one of your year 6 children. Mr Butterfield being taught to tie a figure 8 knot. Fab!

[Outdoor Ed @BoothamOutdoor]

Movie time!

Year 5 enjoying the lovely evening

‘Joseph’ dress rehearsal in full swing and sounding amazing. Looking forward to seeing everyone for the performance tonight. Thanks @yorkstage! @BoothamSchool @BoothamJunior
