@davidjthunder The issue is that the models tend to have so many free parameters that many different parameter sets can reproduce the data. However, somewhat counterintuitively, it seems that this doesn't necessarily prevent such 'sloppy' models from being used to make some useful predictions.

The House of Lords passed the new law after just 90 minutes debate, with a regret motion noting there is insufficient evidence for it and that the severity of impact is unknown.
So, I hope that this is hyperbole and an over-reaction, but last night an experienced journalist told me that I need to get security because I was at risk of being assassinated. I do not know how to even begin to think about this. I am just a middle class person. Security??!!??
