@ManOnThe339@NeilDoolin1@jack_gibbo01 I raised that too. The response was the council receives money for the green waste which covers the costs. How true that is I don't know ๐คท
@ManOnThe339@NeilDoolin1@jack_gibbo01 I was informed that the green bin collection doesn't cost the council anything. So why would there be a charge anyway, or even on the agenda ๐ค
@seftoncouncil hi. The wheelie bins nobody wants have been delivered to parts of Bootle today. Unfortunately the delivery staff are leaving black clips everywhere. Can you arrange for all these streets to be cleaned please. Images are Quarry Rd.
@rosemeyer1939@ScouseTims@peterjharvey We've asked the council for gull proof sacks which work well in other coastal towns. Sadly no current consultation on this and nobody listening. They consulted on this 5 years ago and wheelie bins were not wanted so they scrapped the plan.
@ScouseTims@peterjharvey There's been no consultation so they're not listening as they claim. Absolutely 0 evidence that people want wheelie bins as there's no evidential consultation. If they listened they'd know this !
@LivEchonews@peterjharvey people in Derby Ward are unhappy. No consultation and no listening to us. Where can I find the results and comments pertaining to the WFT campaign please ?
@peterjharvey I can assure you that a lot of people also don't want wheelie bins and would much prefer alternative methods. Is this being imposed on Derby Ward without consultation ?
@peterjharvey Thank you. Many residents in Bootle do want to see change, but not necessarily via wheelie bins. Gull proof sacks seem a more viable option for terraced properties. I do hope this is consulted on again, rather than enforced.
@BedfordPrimary Rory and Cora have been keeping their community clean. Cora litterpicked Quarry Road and Rory helped clean the canal at the annual paddy splash with @bootlecanoeclub
