Becoming obsessed with OpenClaw - AI workflows that provide real value to my companies. Love 3D printing, generally building things and summer Sailing.
I have to say that OpenClaw 2026.6.9 - Is really solid for me. I had to do a number of agent repairs to get there but now I am really seeing the results. Thanks @openclaw Team!
Yesterday’s updates broke any cron using ChatGPT.
The 2026.5.27 upgrade (installed May 28) added a security change: "block side-effecting command wrappers" in the Codex harness. Your openclaw.json explicitly routes openai/gpt-5.5 through the Codex app-server (agentRuntime: { id: "codex" }). That's by design — GPT-5.5 runs as a Codex app-server agent. But after the upgrade, Codex sessions no longer get OpenClaw's exec tool. It's a new hard boundary, not a bug.
I have found that you really need to create specific skills and be careful not to let them bloat. I personally like to keep the memory file small have the agent.md delegate the users requests to skills. Most of the time have it spawn a temper agent for the task and have it return results. Keeps context small and instructions specific.
@openclaw Why is it that the gateway does not distribute the new Oauth Token to every agent after you refresh the token?
openclaw models auth login --provider openai-codex
This is the right command?
@daniel_mac8@openclaw Are you running your agents through an API key, or piggybacking on a https://t.co/l6iaP2tzVL subscription via OAuth?
With the 30% discount on Pre-purchase or tokens I was not sure if OAuth was cheaper? I heard API is actually more effieient with token usage and cache?

@bcherny@EricBuess Hello @bcherny Just wondering if our extra-usage @openclaw gets used faster during prime time hours vs off peek like we had in march? There is a lot I can do to shift my usage.
@bcherny Ok, I enabled Extra usage - does this mean @openclaw will only draw from this usage? Can I back my $200 plan down to $100 or are these still affecting each other?
@AllenBe18556959@openclaw Can you tell me how this is working for you? I was looking to optimize my @openclaw and this was one of the solutions it came up with. - Any details would be greatly appreciated.
How about a $300 per month tier - I am really only using half of the $200 and would be happy paying a bit more. My issue was API access was costing me much more. @bcherny it would be great if we had clarity. You have a great product! I will willing to pay more to keepp going.
