Growing up in So Cal, I can attest first hand!
Mexicans (of which my family lineage is a part of) hated Guatemalans, Costa Ricans hated Nicaraguans, Blacks hated Mexicans (which of course they called ALL Latinos🤣) and etc.
In fact, the most racism I have ever witnessed has been from those other than white people.
Racism is an equal opportunity employer!
I like to say that what we're really dealing with, for the most part, is not racism – but culturalism!
@CrimeWatchMpls Whatever that dude did, it was something pretty bad. Haven't seen this much LEO activity in my hood in all my years living here. Multiple K-9s and Sheriffs.
@GigglingGanon I feel like maybe you shouldn't be able to call yourself an adult until after you've worked through your "trauma triggers".
Given my opinion, I technically did not become an adult myself, until my mid-thirties.🤣
Beautifully said!
My mother once told me, at the height of my neuroticism and juvenile delinquency, that I was "headed to hell in a handbasket". I hated her for saying that. In hindsight, she was 100% correct.
We love our mothers dearly and what gives us such great appreciation for them is in part due for putting up with our crap for all those years.
Happy Mother's Day to you and yours!
Love it! It's like the lead-up to the 4th of July!
In all my years on this earth, well...(aside from being a child looking forward to fireworks) this is the first year that I have been so genuinely and utterly grateful for the country I live in and will be out in full force proudly celebrating!
May the 4th be with you as well!
@AlphaNews Bring it! Let's crack this nut wide open! I'll fight for MN. for as long as I can before and if I choose to leave so that at the end of the day, I'll be able to say "At least I tried!"
Thank you Alpha News!
Add to the list one of the most atrocious stories I've ever heard of and that is of a Mexican mother walking around the borderlands – where many victims of boarder crossings and crime are buried – with a piece of rusty rebar that she would shove down several feet into the earth, hoping that it would hit the dead body of her son so she could know where he was buried. And she would know this because after pulling the rebar back out, she would smell the end of it to check for a decaying stench.
Can you even fathom what living hell she must be living in?!!!
