The 8th Land Awareness Week commenced this morning at the Iganga District Local Government, under the theme “Promoting Land Rights and Land Use for Inclusiveness and Sustainable Development.” The event began with a march through Iganga Town to raise awareness about the week's activities.

This week-long event, scheduled from August 26th to 30th, 2024, will take place across 10 districts in the Busoga Sub-Region: Namutumba, Iganga, Bugiri, Mayuge, Buyende, Kaliro, Jinja, Luuka, Bugweri, and Namayingo.
