Less than half of black Britons feel proud to be British, landmark study says
Campaigners have described the findings as a wake-up call and further evidence of the βchronic level of racial disparitiesβ that black Britons face in the UK. https://t.co/wBoBImpd3i
Cruella Braverman proving that the #PsychosisOfWhiteness is not just for those with white skin. Beware Tory identity politics, she is able to make the racist speeches that would get a White home secretary sacked
This #Windrush group won't be missed as it achieved nothing; good people resigned in disgust ages ago, a couple serious ones who stayed were ignored, & the rest were just happy to be invited to something. Happy for anyone in the know to convince me otherwise, with examples.
Many of you have asked how to support Roy whose story was featured by Diane Taylor in this week's Guardian. A befriender has kindly agreed to host a Go Fund Me campaign & Roy, aware of your support, has asked us to pass on his thanks. Details at the link:

@alanalentin I like your racial technology which goes deeper.. I see this cypher/code argument as mostly relating to surface level public conversations, debates etc..I think it's an important initial conceptual step to then go on to the technologies of control etc.
@alanalentin Yeah could be that in the UK context public discourse about 'immigration' is really about people of colour I. E. 'race'.. I've read this from different scholars but can't think of any names at mo!
Curious abt especially 'EU' and 'Rest of world' outnumbering Jamaica and the Caribbean - which most coverage has focussed on (making #WindrushScandal seem smaller) who are they? any insights/explanation? tags for reach, plz RT thanks! @ppvernon@ameliagentlemen@jacquiMckenzie6
@BigPapaT101@ppvernon@ameliagentlemen@JacquiMckenzie6 On the contrary, I've been researching this for 4 years and my core argument is based around how the 'Windrush scandal' was a spectacle, and gov responses served the political elite, and white supremacy more broadly, than it did secure justice for the Windrushers.
1/ Who's afraid of Critical Race Theory? Usually, people who misunderstand it. Take the notion of "interest convergence," a key insight of CRT. The idea has 2 components, one of which is commonsensical, the other of which is a bit more radical...
I actually believe things are getting worse because racism is not taken seriously and I have lived this reality my whole life. It is too often reduced to white individuals thus avoiding the systemic and institutionalised practices shielding rife racists.

Iβve spent the last 3 years trying to get pension loss added to the compensation scheme, State or private pension loss is something most claimants should be compensated for and yet the home office refuses to add it. We need an independent scheme!
