LONDON, ON (January 10, 2026)
– The London Police Service wants to make the public aware of an un-identified male who has committed numerous daytime break and enters over the last 10 days.
The suspect is a white male of average build. He usually wears a white and black ball cap, black face covering, black jacket, white shoes, and carries a black backpack with white stripes.
It is believed that he is using a newer Honda CRV or similar.

@ESDC_GC if I may, wouldn’t it lessen the admin burden had identifiers been added to your email vs now getting numerous queries as to which app your email may be referring to - or did you weigh the options & decided that this method would create less work? 🤔

@MatthewIwama I don’t disagree and good on Job Bank to QUESTION … but arbitrarily refusing to extend a job posting or flat out refusing to post a job without due process is complete overreach. Some legitimate ERs are forced to post higher wages bc of the RTP mandate.
@MatthewIwama @ONgov It would definitely be interesting. I can see the rationale to cancel an application if fraud was discovered but to pull an application bc the govt oversubscribed?!? Can you imagine the stress and the devastation?! I can’t even. 🤯
This is very concerning. @ONgov surely, there’s a better way to manage intakes to ensure your dept doesn’t over allocate & then have to cancel apps already filed. How can any ER plan their operations w/o certainty that they can possibly keep their foreign workers after an ITA?!

It will be interesting to see how many refusals will result. At the very least, I hope PFLs will be issued to give ERs or FWs a chance to recognize the change in wage requirements!
