MP Duncan Mathenge: For all imported second-hand vehicles, what verifiable technology have we put in place at the Port of Mombasa for inspection? We are cultivating a culture of suspicion, whereby sound intentions are becoming polluted by a category of elites. #CitizenDayBreak
Zubeida Kananu reminds me why I walked away from mainstream media. I have friends we went to school with who are still in the industry, struggling with unpaid salaries while doing all the donkey work. Save yourself. Jitoe. There’s a-lot more out here.

“You read something which you thought only happened to you, and you discover that it happened 100 years ago to Dostoyevsky. This is a very great liberation for the suffering, struggling person, who always thinks that he is alone. This is why art is important. Art would not be important if life were not important, and life is important.”

@_fels1 This one they don't want to hear or talk about. They have never organised "memorial" maandamano for those that lost their lives during 2017 election prostests. They also think we have forgotten the persecution of Miguna Miguna, death of Msando and baby pendo. It's about tribe.
@MarthaKarua These promises sound familiar because the current government is already investing in fertilizer subsidies, irrigation, value addition, and market access. Repackaging existing priorities isn't a new vision.
