Gross mismanagement at Social Bar Hop event in Mumbai on 06.12.25. Emailed your team for resolution on 17.12 to no avail.
Is charging 3200/- (300/- platform fee) for a promotional event for 3 cocktails (900/- each) a gr8 business model?
@ErikaMorris79 Across the subcontinent, government & cricket are far too intricately linked. Most cricketers are scared of crossing the line because they reap benefits off their political connections.
People want cricketers to be real role-models for the youth and not just sell products to them
Speaking as an eyewitness:
The scenes of clashes with the police in Kolkata were not caused by the protesters. The march was overwhelmingly peaceful, with mostly young people coming together in solidarity against the alleged police excesses in Delhi and the NEET paper leak issue. The police, too, largely exercised restraint because the protest remained peaceful.
The shoe-throwing and bottle-throwing at the police was carried out by a group of local rowdies who had no connection with the protest. The organisers repeatedly appealed to everyone not to indulge in any violence and ensured that the students did not participate in such acts.
I know the narrative that will likely be pushed, but the record must be set straight.
It was a massive protest, yet peaceful from both sides. The provocations came from local hooligans and goons who were not part of the demonstration. These same individuals also targeted journalists covering the event.
I personally intervened to help a Zee 24 Ghanta reporter. When a group of goons attempted to intimidate and attack a woman reporter from Zee 24 Ghanta, it was the students who stepped in. They formed a human chain around her, ensuring she could continue her live broadcast without being harassed. The footage is there for anyone to verify.
Whatever political conclusions people draw, the facts of what happened on the ground should not be distorted.
The police denied owning or using pellet guns but the RAF did not respond amid reports of two protesters being treated for pellet like injuries at Lady Hardinge and AIIMS. Now an outlook reporter has gone on record to say he was struck by a pellet gun, the magazine has also issued a statement saying he has “pellet like wounds” - @szaffariqbal report
An Outlook Journalist who says he has pellet wounds over his body in an exclusive interview with MOJO Story said he was struck by pellets during the police crackdown while he was covering the CJP parliament march, this is despite Delhi Police categorically denying the use of pellet guns. As per the medical reports doctors found multiple pellets embedded in his body. | Watch In Full | https://t.co/nwUB4wXdmk
Objectively, this isn’t a bad way for Messi to bow out of the World Cup: carrying his team, once again, till the very end of a tournament he was expected to exit early and saying goodbye on the biggest stage possible, but also finally understanding that he truly had nothing left in the tank, and that he simply couldn’t beat the best younger generation team anymore. The loss—and the thoroughness of it—will sting for a while, but it probably also brings him the kind of mental closure that a closer contest couldn’t. His unparalleled legacy is, in any case, unaffected.
ICC have announced what they are calling an "evolved" format for next year's 50-over World Cup
They say the format will create "greater context, competitiveness and consequence during the event"
It looks very much like a way of cutting a 14-team World Cup to 12 teams by stealth
Much better to play a "normal" World Cup like in other sports, but add a one-week gap after the first round where India and Pakistan can play a best-of-three.
We are not a political organisation, but naturally we have a manifesto, and we think global not local:
1. All 12 Test teams must play each other in 3 match series in the World Test Championship over a 4 year period, home and away.
2. Minimum boundary lengths of 70 metres should be enforced in all international cricket.
3. Women's Test cricket should be significantly expanded and played over 5 days.
4. Coalitions of nations should be owed to play together e.g. the Nordics, as the WI already do.
5. The ICC should provide funding to those nations seeking associate membership.
6. Profits from T20 cricket need to be better redistributed to enable players to play Test correct with high wages.
7. Bowlers should be allowed one leg-side delivery an over in short form cricket.
8. The number of teams in the T20/ODI World Cups should be further expanded.
9. 'Bad light stopped play' should be abolished unless the ball literally cannot be seen.
10. The 'spirit of cricket' should be regarded as a drink, not a moral mantra.
This is a photograph of Albert Einstein with an unassuming Indian man you probably haven’t heard enough about. He spent his life working on one idea: women should be able to live with dignity and make their own choices. Thread.

If cricket wants to take its place as a genuinely global sport, it must stop this farcical business of ensuring India and Pakistan are always in the same group.
All are aware that it is a money spinner for the broadcasters, and that all the member countries approve & benefit, but it risks not being taken seriously in comparison to other global sports.
If you did this with Argentina Brazil in football or even USA France in basketball, there would be an uproar.
Take the hit once, and you'll discover that cricket is bigger than just one rivalry, which currently is not even close to being the most riveting rivalry in the sport. And the sport will gain so much more credibility as a truly Olympic sport.
@LegendDhonii Even if we agree with your solid statistics-backed claim that 90% woman cricketers are lesbians, why does that mean that women's cricket is not real cricket? Real matlab woh fruit juice wale Real kya? Bhai bakchodi karke viral banne ke sapne sab dekhte hai yahan, par tu alag hai.
Support staff, family, friends, former greats who were inspirations, a teammate who got injured, the opposition team, all the thousands of fans at the ground and even Jemi's Jack Russell Terrier, Jade.
This is definitely the most heart warming and inclusive celebration I have seen after a title win.
It was joyful, and it was also thoughtful, and classy, and inspiring.
Well done, so much to learn from them!
Epic implosion by both India and Bangladesh before Sunday's Rabindranath Tagore derby.
Where the mind needed to be without fear, things unravelled. For both.

@EurekaForbes your dismal post-sales customer service has ruined my peace. I registered a complaint for your leaky device (within warranty- not even been 6 months since the purchase) on 10.07.2025 and even after multiple escalations, technician has not even been assigned yet.
