The Illinois "fans" slamming my feed are Bitter Betsys.
Are fans disappointed? Yes. I'm one of them.
Is Underwood failing? No. The program is on a whale of a run.
Is this I-L-L even Sweet 16 worthy? Yes.
Michigan is a wagon. Accept it.
Imagine the B1G with 10 teams and they all played each other twice. How good would that be to watch. The PAC 12 and east coast are not bringing much to the table right now.
There are seven games between top-25 teams this week:
#9 Kentucky at #12 Louisville
#11 Texas Tech at #14 Illinois
#23 Creighton at #19 Gonzaga
#2 Purdue at #8 Alabama
#5 Arizona vs. #15 UCLA
#3 UConn vs. #7 BYU
#1 Houston vs. #22 Auburn
Loaded slate for mid-November.
I go back and forth on what has more tension:
Playoff baseball or OT in playoff hockey.
This Tigers/Mariners game has been like OT Stanley Cup playoffs for about 3 hours.
Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC, Michigan and Illinois are now 8-1 against the SEC this season, which is stunning considering the SEC remains undefeated in hypothetical matchups
I hope someone asks James Franklin in the post game presser if he thinks Notre Dame only beat them tonight because the Irish didn’t have to play in a conference or conference championship
