Scum lowlife phone scammers calling already this morning, quoting 'emergency' action needed on my NI number. Also 'BT' telling me im going to be cut off unless I call their number. All scams. Dont fall for it. Please spread the word esp to elderly relations.

@LymeBayReserve sad to see two Beer fishermen, using the Beer beach tractor, dumping plastic bin liners, other plastic bags containing unknown contents, as well as crab shells into the sea,east end of the beach. Seagulls tucking in and all making it's way towards Seaton.

I retired from the police today and I know that stopping and asking people why they are out is, and will be, a huge deterrent to those that think the rules dont apply to them.

#JeremyVine The reason why there are suddenly police available to stop check people who MAY be contravening new regulations, is that there are no pubs/clubs to police,less crashes as fewer cars, less shop crime as nothing open, and less pathetic Facebook name calling reported.

Charmouth..Sadly, at about 7pm last night, in The Street, Charmouth, a 90 year old man died after being hit by a car. The driver of the car has been arrested. An investigation has started and police are appealing for any witnesses to call 101. Thank you.

Well, all was good in Bridport, Lyme and surrounding areas during the night. One car seized in Chideock for no insurance, and only minor kerfuffels reported. Happy New Year one and all!
