One of 20% of Christians who read the Bible every day. I was chasing the almighty dollar, but God says He will take care of those who can not help themselves!
God is faithful when I am not.
He is constant when I am not.
He is everything when I am nothing.
Yet He says that...I am His!
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
~ Galatians 3:26
Sometimes we’re so ashamed of ourselves that we automatically feel like Jesus is too.
But He’s not. He knew you’d struggle, He knew you’d make some wrong decisions, He knew you’d go through some rough phases, but He still chose the cross.
Don’t run from Him.
Run to Him.
If you read the Word of God, you would see that God NEVER sent prophets & preachers to tell people how to get rich.
He sent them to tell His people to get right before it’s too late.
Pastors, can I say this in love?
Please stop apologizing for how long your sermon is taking.
Stop with the “I promise not to keep you too long” statements. It devalues the importance of why we are at church to begin with.
What you’re teaching is way more important...
Pastors need our daily prayers and to know that we do not put our trust in their strength , but only in God's strength. This may relieve stress we cannot see and they may be holding in.
"What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you?
Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you?
Ja4:1
"You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?"Ja4:4
So true. Worldly passions do cause most fights.
Christianity is not a game. It's not about who's right and who's wrong and who makes the best point or has the best argument. It's about Yeshua dying on the cross, shedding His blood to pay for our sin. Rising on the third day and giving us eternal life. Believe it!
As the broad way expands exponentially in these dark days, it will make the narrow way seem much more narrow and those on it, much more "set apart" .
It's the same path saints and we will be needing each other more than ever to endure it.
Press on staring straight ahead.
When you choose to follow Christ, you choose to be changed.
~Ezra Taft Benson
I will give you a new heart & put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone & give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you...Ezekiel 36:26-27
"make much of self" is most definitely a crowd pleaser but I checked again and it's clearly "deny self" Mat16:24. This is huge enemy trap that our flesh will eat up. Flee from this msg.
Stay biblical saints ...the road narrows but we are still following King Jesus .
