@mrddmia Maybe because AOC cited what is arguably an impeachable offense, and because there is no higher court to appeal to (as Roberts mentions in his statement about the proper recourse if you disagree with a judge’s decision)?
@PeteWillia40380@Traceethefirst@YMckickass@mrddmia 1) the case was decided in 1948, but pertains to an event from 1946 (which is still after Germany’s surrender). 2) the decision clearly states that there are still hostilities between Germany and the U.S. after the surrender, so considers the state of war to be ongoing.
