ANGLES & PERSPECTIVES. I still admire our submission for the Pier 8 #design comp in #Hamilton when we partnered w/ PFS Studio Landscape Architects. We developed a design that pays homage to the city’s #industrial #heritage while addressing its promising future. -XOT

ART IS EVERYTHING. Ending #August off with a collection of some of my favorite pieces from a recent visit to the Gallerie d'Italia in Naples, #Italy. This summer was full of highs and lows, but our time in Italy will stick with me for a long time. Until next time, #CIAO! -XOT

SPELL BINDING. Visiting the ancient Roman city of Pompeii felt like entering a time capsule that was buried under volcanic ash and preserved for centuries after the Mount Vesuvius eruption in 79 AD. Inspiring to see the culture and creativity that existed in ancient times. -XOT

HIDE & CHIC. I love how the #design for this project not only fulfills the need for an #efficient and #healthy #orthodontics clinic but also elevates the space through a refined design with playful, alluring moments. Not to mention the stunning #art collection. -XOT

WORK SPACE. Love this signature shot of our old office on #collegestreet. So many memories of camaraderie, #collaboration & growth. Not to mention a stunning, #sophisticated work space that was backdrop to many great #client interactions, design charrettes, and problem-solving.

DISTRICT ENERGY. Together with Steven Holl Architects, the team realizes the full potential of this special corner site to link West Don Lands to the historic vibrant distillery and the future Lower Don Lands. -XOT

IMAGINATION. The scrim design @OCAD Rosalie Sharp Pavilion is made of stainless steel laser-cut dynamic panels. The pattern represents a #data visualization mapping of #Toronto, overlaid as a layered re-interpretation of the City, highlighting art and design institutions. -XOT

WORK SPACE. I'm especially proud of the role we played on the #design of this #office space located in downtown TO. The contrast in colors, the textures, and the way #architecture and design provide a sense of connectivity. - XOT

SOPHISTICATED STUDY. #Architectural massing plays a “weighty” role in this #expansion at St. Denis Elementary School @TCDSB. Our #design resulted in a space that hovers above the playground, maintaining the play space below, creating an amusing atmosphere for play below. -XOT

CURVY. Our #design intent for this interior was to create an #ambiance that supports a positive patient experience. We achieved this through curvilinear forms, color & capitalizing on the expansive windows, resulting in a comfortable, cohesive, and healing environment. -XOT

ANGLES & MOVEMENT. Inspired by movement and speed, our #design for this multi-award-winning pavilion serves as a staff facility for @townofoakville @oakvilletransit bus system to provide a place for rest and refreshment for its bus drivers. -XOT

HOME SPACE. House in Kings Cross is a private #residence situated within the footprint of its predecessor to minimize disturbance of the natural characteristics of the site. Designed with an emphasis on space & light, this house provides seamless connection to the outside world.

IN FOCUS. Our work at Victoria College involved the meticulous #restoration of some of the buildings' most treasured #heritage components, including windows, hardware casings, and stonework.-XOT

SHADOWS & LIGHT. Still one of my favorite #residential project transformations, at Borden Street Residence, an existing 3-storey single family row #house was demolished to make way for a new home filled with connections, light, warmth, and #contemporary architectural details.
