Maintenance done. Axcel now runs on bare metal: 2× Xeon, 256 GB, NVMe + cached SATA, Oracle Linux 9. Full and resyncing ~3 months of history. Three reboots later, PCIe power-saving is off for good (lesson learned). Adriana (São Paulo) retires Wednesday; identity preserved.
Maintenance: history node Axcel is offline from ~12:00 CEST today while it moves from a VM to dedicated hardware. Back Monday evening, then resyncing. Validators Anthony and Andy unaffected. Adriana (São Paulo) retires 9 Sep, identity kept.

Prob my all time favorite from the XRP community. It’s been hanging on a wall in my house… but with all this momentum in the market, I wanted to share it!!
I would like to thank everyone for your care and support, be it writing letters, showing support on X, or in any other form. They all mean a lot to me and keep me strong. I will do my time, conclude this phase and focus on the next chapter of my life (education).
I will remain a passive investor (and holder) in crypto. Our industry has entered a new phase. Compliance is super important.
A silver lining of this whole process is that Binance has been under the microscope. And funds are SAFU.

It’s ironic that so much of what’s happening (as some companies scramble to make payroll) highlights how broken our financial systems still are - i.e. wires are still not 24/7/365, rumors lead to collapse and the frictions of moving money within a deeply fragmented system.
