I remember when Arsenal lost away to Brighton and the entire conversation on this space was about how “terrible” we were, despite Brighton scoring some absolute freak goals against us.
Now they’ve gone to the Etihad and embarrassed City, and suddenly the conversation is all about how good Brighton are. 😂
The double standards are loud and clear.
🚨 Gary Neville tears into Lisandro Martínez after his costly red card against Chelsea:
🗣️ “I'm absolutely furious. How can an experienced defender make such a stupid challenge? Martínez wasn't even watching the ball. He put his hands in Morgan Rogers' face and gave the referee every reason to award a penalty and show him a second yellow.
“Manchester United are now two goals down and down to 10 men. The frustrating part is that we had chances to be two goals ahead, but Amad wasted them.
“You cannot put this on Carrick. The manager didn't tell Martínez to make that challenge. Look at the way United's defenders escorted Chelsea's players for the opening goal. It was embarrassing.
“Too many players are simply not good enough to wear this badge. You cannot keep making schoolboy mistakes in big games and expect Manchester United to return to the top.
“This defeat is on the players. They have let their manager, the supporters and the club down.”

This is by far the worst performance I have seen from man city....
-Haaland doesn't press
-Doku can't score
-Buaddi playing 10
-Enzo ghosting in full broad day light
-Referee robbing us of 3 handballs equivalent to 3 penalties
-missing chances
This is frustrating to watch 💔💔
🚨Jamie Caragher: Brighton Expose Manchester City's Title Challenge — Liverpool Are Arsenal's Only Real Threat
🗣️ “I think we're starting to see the real Enzo Maresca again. Manchester City are struggling to put teams away. They barely got past Ipswich at the Etihad, lost to Aston Villa, drew with Brighton and have now lost to them again.
“Liverpool made Brighton look ordinary, yet Manchester City couldn't find a way past them. That tells you something.
“People keep talking about this being Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, but I'm not convinced. This team doesn't have the same authority or fear factor.
“Right now, I see Liverpool as Arsenal's biggest threat in the title race. Manchester City have questions to answer before anyone should be calling them title favourites.
“And if Maresca is supposed to take City to another level, these performances are not exactly making his case.

I must admit Arteta made a mistake not signing Morgan Rogers.
He is a player who takes 5 minutes without touching the ball but the moment he is on the ball he can create something out of nothing.
We would have been more stronger with Morgan Rogers in this Arsenal team more than we are currently.
I fully endorse this.
Man United beating Chelsea is basically a public service, City dropping points is the dream, and Spurs winning is… well, at least someone has to.
Let me rush find buyer for my family house 😊
