I keep SAYING.
Zimbabweans are NOT powerless. We just lack UNITY of purpose. 🤷🏾‍♂️

We don’t use our NUMBERS with focused and DIRECTED intent.

Listen, you don’t NEED to “go on the streets” to make EFFECTIVE noise and protest.
That's not the ONLY option!

We've been talking about "the streets" for YEARS now but people don't seem to YET be willing to seriously mobilize in the numbers NEEDED for that action. 🤷🏾‍♂️
And so we end up being stuck - FROZEN in confusion and inaction. And time is ticking away.
Year after YEAR. ⌛️

It’s 2024. We need to elevate and MODERNIZE our thinking.
The battleground has SHIFTED.
We first need to mobilize together ONLINE!

That is where the "training wheels" are perfected and practiced first. That is where citizens TRAIN to move together and ACT TOGETHER in UNISON first. 🫡

A large group of ORDINARY, united, and organized “keyboard warriors” can inflict DEVASTATING PAIN in today's age.
Right from the comfort and safety of your HOME. 💺

SOCIAL MEDIA, when used with direction can be an effective tool for PUNISHING a tyrannical regime.

It bypasses batons, water canons and tear gas.
It circumvents ALL of the oppressor’s TRADITIONAL tools of repression and EVENS the playing field!

Why do you DOUBT what you have already seen with your OWN eyes?? 🤔
You have already SEEN how effective social media pressure can be!

Politicians have fallen!
Did you not see Health Minister Obadiah Moyo get fired due to pressure? 🤷🏾‍♂️
Even MOHADI was fired at one point due to the attention and pressure on his sexual misdeeds and abuse of office.
A VP in a conceited and oppressive regime, forced to resign?? 👀
That’s the power of attention and pressure!!

That just SHOWS you that social media pressure is not something that can be IGNORED, even by arrogant and tyrannical governments who appear not to care about anything or anyone. They CARE!

▪️ Investigations have started because of social media pressure!
▪️ Crimes have been exposed through social media sharing!
▪️ Businesses have apologized for wrongdoings and changed the way they DO things due to social media pressure!
▪️ Celebrities have had to disassociate themselves from the regime and delete photos of themselves wearing the wretched SCARF!

All that is just a tiny TIP of the iceberg of what is possible with coordinated and INTENTIONAL social media leveraging. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Why do you think tyrants SHUT DOWN the internet in times of potential turmoil?? 📡

It’s because the KNOW the devastating potential of a coordinated population!

Social media is a POTENT weapon that levels the playing field!
IT IS THE MODERN-DAY BATTLEGROUND. ⚔️

Why do you think ZANU PF hired an army of Varakashi?? 🤳🏾
They KNOW the dangers posed by social media and the THREAT of an organized and coordinated opposition presence there...

Imagine what could be achieved if we were UNITED in these digital streets? 👥

You THERE! In whatever corner of the country or WORLD you may BE!
With that simple PHONE in your hand - in concord with OTHER like-minded citizens, you can inflict a DEVASTATING volley of pain. 🫡

▪️ Target them EN MASSE.
▪️ Target their interests and businesses EN MASSE.
▪️ Target their suppliers EN MASSE.
▪️ Target their business partners EN MASSE.
▪️ Target their international allies EN MASSE
▪️ Target their apologists EN MASSE.
▪️ Target their regional/continental partners EN MASSE.
▪️ EXPOSE the regional politicians and interested parties that excuse, support or benefit from ZANU PF’s tyranny.
▪️ Target them INDIVIDUALLY, EN MASSE.
▪️ Target them in their GROUPS, EN MASSE

LAND on them EN MASSE until they SCREAM for mercy – humiliated, beaten and tired.

That’s how it’s done these days ALL OVER THE WORLD. 💪🏾

That’s HOW citizens fight back.
That’s HOW you cause CHAOS in the oppressor’s ranks.
That’s HOW you “faka pressure” in an EFFECTIVE way, that moves the needle.

... But we’re NOT ready to have this conversation. 🙂
We still think we can OUTSOURCE the struggle to others.

We think we can just WAIT, and complain, and say “pakaipa”, and hope that President Chamisa can somehow one day bring ZANU PF down on his OWN…

Now that ZACC has publicly confirmed that they are investigating Wicknell for corruption, we start by targeting the 3 HEADS OF STATE that recently took photos with Chivayo.

WHENEVER their twitter/X handles post ANYTHING over the next week, you land EN MASSE and post the photo of THAT head-of-state with Wicknell - and ask “why are you supporting oppression, corruption and state capture in Zimbabwe??”

That’s a SIMPLE way to Start.

That’s how we BEGIN to “faka pressure”.

And believe me, if ENOUGH of us unite and send a coordinated volley, they will HEAR us. 🦻🏾🙌🏾
They will FEEL the heat.

... BUT… we won’t do it, will we? 🙂

We’re NOT united.
We are too COMFORTABLE.
We’ve learned to live with our pain.

Around the WORLD ordinary people from all walks of life are “making noise” for their Country. 🤌🏾

But us – we are unwilling to even do the BASICS for our Country.

Have you noticed that if ONE of them sees a post that is a "threat" or that they don't LIKE, they inform the others and then they LAND in numbers on the post and start propagandizing and dismissing the post! 😑

And we OUTNUMBER them by hundreds of thousands on this platform!
Imagine how effective WE could be, UNITED?? 🤷🏾‍♂️

But we want to wait for OTHERS to do the "something"...
We’ll make excuses.
We’ll say, “that will never work,” without even trying it.
Then we’ll wait for 5 years, and then another 5 years, and another.

We won't even RETWEET a simple message in solidarity.
Even a message as important as THIS ONE!

LEARNING how to mobilize effectively ONLINE and act in coordinated unison to create IMPACT, will then translate TO us being able to mobilize EFFECTIVELY and ACT impactfully and EN MASSE in the PHYSICAL realm...
