@Brinzth@NealGardner_ Yeah, but that’s not on Flick — if Koundé suddenly hits a big dip in form and your best defender from last season leaves without a proper replacement, that’s not the coach’s fault.
@myownviewsYT@NealGardner_ No, if we had been even half as clinical as Atlético, we’d have gone through this season. The reality is we’re just not good enough at finishing our chances when it really matters.
@Jibran_fcb @han1_777 @NealGardner_ I agree that sometimes the pressing isn’t good enough and they should drop earlier. But it’s just not true that Flick doesn’t adapt or never switches to a mid-block. We saw exactly that against them in the league we dropped deeper, conceded a long ball, and that’s how they scored
@Brinzth@NealGardner_ Across both legs we created so many chances even 1v1s with the keeper multiple times in the second leg alone. The high line creates those. The players just have to finish them.
I get some of the criticism, and Flick has already adapted a lot
@Brinzth@NealGardner_ Ferran maybe, it was also just really unlucky: Lewandowski Comedy on, and right after that there’s a 3-minute injury break, then a red card 5 minutes later. They never got into the game.
And about the high line: we equalized, then had a 3–2 chance a minute later because of it.
@han1_777 @NealGardner_ That is just so wrong. Without the high line we would Never be able to Creat so many chances. They just have to score them. Combined Both games an we can Score 8 more goals.
@aarush2105@NealGardner_ We didnt Even lead once in this those 2 Matches. Theres nothing flick can do when the Players Are Not able Score from so many Chances.
