๐ฉ Boss up public speaking & communication
๐ฌ (NOT MONITORED - Used to document ideas)
How to get your boss to notice you: next time they're presenting, watch, listen attentively, but when they look at you as they speak, don't give them affirming signals - e.g. nodding, laughing, shifting in your chair, etc. Listen, but don't respond. Watch it grab their attention
You can't just construct a team and expect everyone to instinctively know the position they're supposed to play. That's how confusion and later frustration sets in
If someone's not responding to or taking advantage of the opportunities you've created for them, you're gonna have to take them to that place. That's literally what leading means

Ppl like to produce more and more models with leadership styles. The reality, though, is that leadership is learned. So in my opinion, the best way to lead is to develop your own style that enables you to empower your teams to make strong decisions
@ved_hrm In my opinion, great leaders should do less "suggesting" and more asking of questions that empowers their team to make better decisions and come to their own understanding
