Also none of this would have been possible without meeting good friends on the journey that helped.
I knew 0 people in South Florida when I moved there at 21. I am 24 now and super blessed to have good friends in Miami and all over South Florida.
I moved to Miami when I was 21. Drove down from Michigan, slept in my car in Atlanta.
6 months later I was broke!
But it set the stage for commercials with Messi, training Premier League players, and getting hit up for Love Island USA.
Take the risk.
If you can’t have tough conversations, you’re not a leader
And you will get found out
Most of the time those tough convos aren’t actually that tough
What are you afraid of?
Someone told me fear is a mile wide but only an inch deep-
Just go on and do it 💯
Before I trained Premier League athletes, I identified as one in my mind.
Ever since I started training players 3 years ago, I knew I wanted to work with the best.
But I was just a boy from Michigan…. Doesn’t matter.
I made it happen.
And you can too.
Don’t even label the thoughts. Don’t worry if they’re good or bad.
They’re just thoughts.
I try to do it daily.
In this world all we actually have is our consciousness.
Everything is an illusion. Even time.
What matters is your perception. And your awareness.
A few months ago I paid a guy in the UK $2,000 for a phone call.
It was an hour long.
The biggest takeaway I got from that call was to sit still with my thoughts for 30 minutes a day.
Don’t try and think of anything.
Just let thoughts appear and dismiss them.
Life is always logical looking back.
Never when you look forward.
The human brain can only fathom a few possible outcomes
There are infinite possibilities
HOW you’re going to get to where you want isn’t that important
What’s important is you know where you want to get 📍
I’ll always have respect for Risk-Takers
Even if it doesn’t work out.
At 21 I moved to Miami. I didn’t know anyone there & had maybe 20k saved up from my work of training players in Michigan.
6 months later I was training some of the world’s best.
Life happens fast 📈
Isn’t it funny how you can always twist a scenario to fit your narrative 🤣
Ex: You win a fight. You’re the man
You lose a fight: “It wasn’t God’s will”
Andrew Tate comes to mind here. I like him a lot. But he’s a Master of the Spin 🧶
Just wrapped up training some academy talents-
One hits me with the classic: “Why are the pros you’ve coached so good?”
My answer? Almost every pro I’ve trained was solid across the board—dribbling, passing, defending.
But they had 1-2 weapons that were elite.
And my outside back from a Premier League club? Good at everything. But great at crossing.
He’s able to consistently pick out teammates in the box. That sets him apart.
