💡 Our Street Lighting Division is continuing lighting upgrades in Back Bay while crews in Dorchester are working to upgrade pendant fixtures - helping improve visibility and reliability across our neighborhoods.

To maximize accessibility along the St. Patrick’s Day parade route in #SouthBoston, crews will be removing snow on Telegraph St, Thomas Park, 6th St, K St, and 4th St beginning Monday (3/9) at 8PM. Parking restrictions will be in effect - please follow all posted signage.

Our Street Lighting Division was busy today upgrading lighting fixtures on multiple streets in #BackBay. In total, over 100 fixtures were replaced to improve visibility, safety & energy reliability throughout the neighborhood.💡🦺🛠️

Snow removal efforts began early this morning in the City of Boston, as crews continue widening & clearing roads, bike lanes, crosswalks & curb ramps.❄️🚲🚜

Daytime street sweeping is delayed in the City of Boston due to snow. Neighborhoods scheduled to begin on March 1 will be delayed until at least March 16. Beacon Hill, the North End, and the South End will be impacted.

Updated snow removal totals following the blizzard:

❄️ 3,671 loads removed from city streets
❄️ 61,332 cubic yards

Is the work complete? Not yet. Today, skid steer work continues citywide to clear crosswalks & curb ramps.
