Tech junky since the heydays of minicomputers. Enjoying the “pirate” life of start-ups, after a long career as an officer in the "tech navy” (IBM, AT&T, NCR)
@TakeUrVitC@TONYxTWO@LibertyValkyrie Just to clarify: their cathedrals and top architectural sites in Europe were built hundreds of years ago. Even the relatively new Eiffel Tower is 137 years old.
@JenniferSey Showing incredible ingratitude to the parents who sacrificed to pay for their “education,” and traveled to attend their graduation ceremony.
@washingtonmovie If you’ve not seen them, check out Grammer’s history series called “America’s Greatest Battles.” Each is a +/~30 minute summary of the most pivotal military engagements dating back to the Revolutionary War. It’s outstanding.
@IAPolls2022@Rasmussen_Poll The only one who concerns me at all isn’t listed, but he has the best chance of winning IMO: Obama’s consigliere, Rahm Emmanuel.
@CynicalPublius I would include Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus on your side: a man who saved his nation, was offered the Emperor’s role for life, but instead returned to his farm, content to have served and succeeded in preserving his country.
@Redmac83 Burrow is saying it was his decision, and because he’s “a competitor” who wants to be out there. I think his coaches should keep him from rushing back too soon, to preclude the risk of further injury.
@Redmac83 Many are saying the Reds backed into the playoffs, by virtue of the Mets collapsing. I think Cincinnati showed they were the better team by virtue of posting a .667 winning record against them.
@Redmac83 Agreed. I thought the W was going to get away from them. Definitely didn’t look like a multimillion-dollar offense. Maybe Cleveland’s defense is better than expected. After watching the Ravens @ Bills game though, the Bengals had better get their act together.
