@FrogFromNS @ForrestSSBM nerfs have nothing to do with if a single char is strong. The philosophy is around the fact that because a GCC requires you to move a stick and the box doesn’t, it’s broken. All nerfs are around forcing the box user to take more actions than a GCC to “perfectly” match it

I know it sounds so stupid but I literally haven’t touched the game in a year and it’s mostly due to the fact that nerfs are a shit show. 10 years of playing this game just to be forced out because people want to call me a cheater.

I own multiple boxes that I can't put the nerfs on and the third that I own I spent 2 hours trying to get them to work.

I’m unhappy with how nerfs even are,
Using them on my preferred controllers is either impossible or not working on my setup,the BIGGEST TOURNAMENT IN THE WORLD hides their nerf rules in a google doc and links to someone else’s makeshift tutorial

@riennezelda @Cyrain I hope you can see how from a pure game feel perspective, that abuse case is what created a perfect virtual GCC in my head and let me fall in love with the box.

Im playing on box because it’s comfortable, nerfs make me feel like im playing a different uncomfortable game

You’re arguing the potential risks of having a digital input move the stick up for you through the gate, I’m saying the FEEL is the same on unnerfed and GCC and nerfed has created a new feel

@PracticalTAS @riennezelda tried for like 3 hours to get it to build via the vs code tutorial. Same pc I used to do other builds in the past. People kept telling me conflicting info like don’t use the vscode method just drop it in as a firmware file, then I got told it’s not accurate for LBX. Just gave up

@riennezelda Idk if I agree with that. I do feel like nerfs solidly moved the needle to “you must interact with this completely new set of rules to move your character” while unnerfed feels like you’re really just moving a virtual stick with digital buttons. 2ip No Reac just feels so clean
