@4b6c49446445 I wouldn't say it was all over the place, but the length of the whole story being only a few chapters definitely didn't help. It only feels like we've just started by the time we are already in the final arc of everything.
Also another reason why I love SAC so much.

I'm glad they decided to still use Sakamoto for the Major; I'm still in the process of getting used to the other CV's, honestly.
I'm still not a fan of the color palette they chose.
The music is fine overall, but the OP and ED were both underwhelming as fuck, so meh.

@4b6c49446445 But that's the charm of Shirow's GitS for me over his other works, it's the entire package. The setting is cool without being shallow if you pay attention, and you play out the fantasy of a badass team being competent in that world.
From the get go, it hits all the right notes...

@4b6c49446445 As for my view on the original story by Shirow itself, I can say more about that. I view it as a ultimate combination of both Appleseed and Dominion, attempting both of what made each great (although I prefer the way both did their own thing over how GitS did it in some regard).
