@spdustin Hi Dustin, you sent a photo of our condo building to me asking if my flooded window photo was from the window you pointed to with a photoshopped hand. Yes, that was the place. I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner; thousands of comments to answer!!
@ljnj22 Hi Angeline, on October 14th, you asked for permission to use a photo I had posted of a flooded window. I hope you remember. Would you mind sending me a link to the page where you used it? I'd love to see it! Thank you, Dixie Whatley
@LindaCh97928823 it's a condo building. we have a common room for people to use if they need space for a group to meet. WE just call with a party room. Sounds like more fun. Won't be using it for a long time, tho. water came in the other side. totally ruined. But the windows held!
@RhettBurns2@HolliLoki@ZeframM I posted the photo of the window. It was taken on the ground floor of the condo building I live in. The photo was taken by Tom Lisa, one of my neighbors.
@ljnj22 Hi Angeline, just saw your post. Yes, you may use it. Please credit the photo to Tom Lisa, and credit the post to me, Dixie Whatley. I've had a long career as a journalist, and I've been to your beautiful country. All the best, Dixie
@SteelPhilFan because there was a lot in the same bill that they didn't agree with. You know how these bills go; politicians stuff everything they can into a bill to sneak it through under the radar when the focus of the bill is something most would vote for.
@aycarranza Done. Would love to see what https://t.co/dRu1cKWIaJ did with the photo. As a longtime broadcast journalist, I find it fascinating to see the varied ways this one photo has been used. Best of luck in your career; and don't let the inevitable jerks in the business wear you down!
I feel the need to pass this bit of theft along. This is the shot I posted. This company has stolen it and used it for fraudulent advertising. They have never been to our condo building. Work was done by Walker Construction, Ft. Myers. SHAME ON THEM
!
@girasole9 What a shame you didn't read the bill and know why they voted the way they did. And our governor had nothing to do with ruining home insurance. Insurance companies are leaving the state because they don't want to pay off on disaster claims.
@onigbindejoao@laabsTWC I only wish! It's a condo. The photo was actually taken by my neighbor, Tom Lisa. Wish I COULD get him a few bucks. But when people actually co-op a photo and use it for fraudulent advertising, that ticks me off. They are LYING. Never used this company. Shame on 'em
@jonthecaren Walker Construction in Ft. Myers, Florida. I've learned that the sealing is as important as the windows. Also, these are sealed completely; they don't open, so that helped. Good luck!
