Hard to fathom. What species of plants will be used to cool it down? “Native” isn’t good enough. Wildlife needs locally native. There’s a huge diff. between the 2 when it comes to providing habitat. There’s thousands of Euc. Maculata in Perth. All wasted opportunities 4 #habitat

@DingoResearch@RTW_Aus In this context the word “native” is too broad. Plants needs to be “locally native”. A plant from QLD is as exotic to WA as a plant from Africa, and vice versa. Nurseries need to be more responsible when it comes to this terminology.
@UrbanBirdsOz@focusfilmsaust Buckets are a bad idea. The steep slippery sides can be a death trap for birds and other critters. At least put a stick in the bucket to work as a ladder.

Because you've all been spending your weekends wondering who'd win a race between a chuditch and a quenda.
(Quenda moves off to the left of screen right at the start. Be patient and watch the middle of the screen. Especially for the dust cloud. 😁)
And the winner was...
A sense of scale:
Top - Chuditch (our biggest local [SW WA] native carnivore) 🥳
Middle - Quenda (this is a big male) 🥰
Bottom - Cat 🤬
[Distance from tree to fence is 500mm]
