My last story from San Antonio, including locker room interviews with Will Richard, Thomas Haugh, Alex Condon, and a must-see conversation with @MHandlogten @CarlinHartmanUF.

And yes, I took home some confetti. #Gators

Having a discussion with @PeterBurnsESPN on SEC This Morning that we can use some help with. How many @SEC fan bases are truly happy through 8 weeks of the 2026 season? #secthismorning

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

@boogie_scott_ Thank you for the context!

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

Question to Jazz and Grizzlies. Why is it that Dusty May is utilizing WCJ effectively? Three games in, his minutes have increased, and he recorded double digits this evening in only 17 minutes. #Gators

[Role Player Performances @BenchHighlights]

Mavs Walter Clayton Jr. 15 PTS (6-7 FG, 2-2 3P), 4 AST, 4 REB, 1 BLK, team-high +22 in 17 minutes vs. Heat

Any team in the NBA could have signed him

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

Oh, knock it off. Seriously, the video was a nothing burger.

The University of Utah has released a statement in relation to Pat McAfee’s comments today:

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

The Rays chose a poor time to showcase the worst infield defense of the year. Eight runs in the 5th inning for the Brewers. It goes back to that questionable decision to start Drew Rasmussen in Game 2 instead of Game 1. #WorldSeries

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

The ghosts of Game 2 haunting the Rays as they watch Freddy Peralta leave after less than five innings, and the Brewers scored seven unanswered runs to take an 9-0 lead in the fifth inning of Game 3.

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

@zachjacobson It's great stuff, you always go outside the box in your analysis.

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

Rays are hopeful that playoff extraordinaire Freddy Peralta can save their season tonight. The Trop will be loud tonight.

Game 3 first pitch adds up 🩵

Okay. But is there a solution to being the most-penalized team in the NFL? Until I see the replay assist actually being used. This is how it goes.

[NFL on ESPN @ESPNNFL]

"I would rather get fined and try to help my team out because I see what's going on, and it's killing us."

Xavier McKinney and the Packers criticized the officiating after their loss to Detroit Sunday.

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

Oh, because I thought it was Trey Smack missing two field goals, the Packers missing on back-to-back fourth-down conversions in the red zone, and having issues with Detroit, who basically gave you the game on a platter and you sent it back without reason. But yeah, it's the refs.

[Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter]

Packers ripped the officiating after roughing penalties proved costly in their loss to the Lions.

Breaking: Bryan Mesa has announced his commitment to The University of Florida. Mesa is one of the top overall prospects in the 2028 class and is an elite shortstop with a lot of present strength as well as good defensive actions. The Gators add to their growing 2028 class.

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

Now that is how you greet yourself to Gainesville. A grand slam for the LSU transfer.

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

@CWilliamson44 Bad. Awful.

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

Good for the Rams and also their safety. They are still alive for a chance at the 16-team SSAA Atlantic bracket.

[Corey Davis @ByCoreyDavis]

Final
Interlachen 27, Atlantic 10
Rams were down 10-0 with 13 minutes left and score 27 unanswered.

Ticked off Atlantic follows Interlachen to the bus and throws Gatorade bottles at them and nearly cites a serious issue. Cops broke it up quickly

3 straight for the #Gators! 🐊 Florida sweeps LSU Friday night at the O'Dome.

Rothe, Chaney & King combine for 26 of 41 kills. Parks: 31 assists. Hayes: team-high 16 digs.

[Gators Volleyball @GatorsVB]

GATORS WIN 🤩

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

🏐 How about 18 kills ALONE in the second set!
Alec Rothe chalked up 3 of the last 4 — Chaney, Rothe and King with a combined 21 through two.

[Gators Volleyball @GatorsVB]

anotha one 🤪

[Jake Rongholt @BothSidesSports]

Okay, the Rays are saving Drew Rasmussen for Game 2. Kevin Cash's move to call on Nick Martinez is interesting.

[Tampa Bay Rays @RaysBaseball]

A few notes ahead of tonight's game ✍️
