rob demovsky:
Jordan Love on this play today:
“It was a really well-designed play we had dialed up. Budda [Baker] was playing the post and he pushed to the left—he opened up the hole for MG. MG ran a great route, so I just put it out there for him. He did a great job being able to go down with the ball to secure the catch with two guys closing in on him. It’s one of those bang-bang plays, but really good execution all around on that one.”
Jordan Love says that he and Matt LaFleur are always together, and that their relationship—he refers to it as a "collaboration"—is continuing to grow each year.
"I think the quarterback and the head coach have to have a good relationship, especially when he's the play-caller and an offensive-minded guy," Love said. "We sit next to each other in the quarterback room; we're always talking.
"The mindset now is turning to Minnesota and game-planning for Week 1, finding ways to be at our best. We'll sit down and go over the plays we might be running really well, stuff we might not be running as well. He's always asking me what I'm comfortable with, what I'm not comfortable with. Our relationship's growing, and it's something that's just going to keep growing."
Tucker Kraft said he felt "free" in today's joint practice after being unleashed from his rep limitations.
"I really didn't have anyone counting my reps or trying to pull me out of stuff," says Kraft. "I've gotten to the point now where I feel good, and I'm confident enough to where I'm going to stay out there. You guys take me out when I need to come out, when I'm tired. I'm not doing the rep-count stuff anymore.
"You can pull me off the field, but I'm going to try to be out there as much as I can."

people are going to make this a thing but i genuinely could not care less as long as both sides got out of today healthy. training camp is over and the packers avoided significant injuries
Packers just lost all four two-minute periods against the Cardinals. Both Packers’ starting and backup offenses failed to score and both Cardinals’ offenses scored TDs.
