Rober Hersov fails to realize his rhetoric is nothing short of wasted hot air.

You can’t curry favor from a majority black populace living in poverty, framing your message from an old money English South African perspective.

It simply does not work. No matter how hard you try.

Rob thinks he’s “educating” black people but simply comes off as condescending and out of touch to the majority. Its an old fashioned colonialist mentality that frankly never worked. (i.e.: teaching the savages right from wrong).

This approach is rooted in a superiority complex often seen within the white elite in SA, and yet 30 years later they’re failing to realize that the approach simply does not work or help their case.

Furthermore, trying to use influencers like DJ Sbu, etc, to help push the agenda through a “black” angle, immediately makes one look disingenuous.

The bad news for Rob is, as simplistic as poor black people might appear to the white elite, their social understanding and EQ are as sophisticated as anyone else.

Long story short: black people are not shifting their political ideology because you (Rob) chill with Dj Sbu lol.

Also endorsing Gayton McKenzie as a white elitist publicly has to be the stupidest thing ever, with the expectation that Gayton now has a chance to lead the country (because rich Rob says so). Politics doesn’t work like that. Also, Gayton is “coloured” and this is SA—please read that again and try understand.

The best thing Rob could have done was hide in the shadows and pump money into these guys like some other parties do (I wont say who) and hope they steer in the favored direction.

The moment a white elitist is seen in the vicinity (hyperbole) of a prospective leader, the whole campaign is completely squandered.

i.e.: It would be more of a service for Rob NOT to be doing publicity endorsements for the Gaytons and what not of the world because he is tainting the very agenda he’s pushing — and very evidently failing at.

Maybe Rob needs to read spend some time reading Sun Tzu.
