I am appalled by the repeated attempts to justify this Dutch police officer's behavior since the video's release.

It's simply not possible.

The only justifiable reason for this behavior would be if the pregnant woman posed an immediate and recognizable danger or threat to the officer(s).

This is not apparent.
Regardless of whether the person is cooperating or not, there is NO discernible threat from her.

With such behavior, the police disqualify themselves and lose all respect for the public.

@elonmusk I'm in South Africa and to say I'm appalled by this story is an understatement. The one job of the police force is the PROTECTION OF IT'S CITIZENS and not the AIDING AND ABETTING OF THE CRIMINALS. And then to further compound the issue there were no consequences afterwards.
