Depending on which research you believe, between 70% to 90% of all strategies fail. It's a sobering statistic but you can increase the likelihood that your strategy will succeed by ensuring it has the 8 enduring characteristics of the most successful strategies.

Of the characteristics, I would argue that the 1st, 5th and 8th in the attached list are the most important and it's therefore an interesting exercise to consider whether the strategies being implemented by the main actors in the developing ME crisis have these characteristics.

In the UK, plumbers, electricians, carpenters and heating engineers don’t get the same respect as graduates in suits — but in Germany, vocational training and university are equal.

Apprenticeships don’t saddle you with £50,000 debt. You get paid while you learn, gain skills employers need, and walk into a career with earning potential from day one.
Degrees and AI don’t fix boilers. If we keep ignoring apprenticeships, the UK will have plenty of degrees… and no one to fix the pipes.

Having a Montmartre - Champs Elysees stage was the best decision ever. ❤️

Absolutely spectacular racing and amazing atmosphere. Maybe controversial opinion, but also I wouldn’t be mad if every time this stage will happen it will be neutralized like this even without a rain. Why?

I think riders being able to enjoy these moments with crowds, each of them getting a spotlight and GC riders too like we saw Roglič while not being afraid to lose some time. I think it was very beautiful today as it was.
