J’ai regardé avec attention les 2 chroniques lunaires sur la #crypto dans vos émissions cette semaine.

Vous êtes bien sûr libres de choisir votre angle éditorial, et ce, même si cet angle est en décalage avec la réalité de notre entreprise qui soutient financièrement votre émission.

Toutefois, réduire la crypto à un memecoin de Trump et à quelques masculinistes torse nu sur Instagram, ce n’est ni de l’information, ni de l’infotainment. C’est tromper votre public.

Vous auriez pu parler des nombreuses voix dans la crypto qui ont critiqué le lancement du memecoin de Trump.
Vous auriez pu aborder le fait qu’aux Etats-Unis, les détenteurs crypto sont en majorité des jeunes et des personnes issues des minorités. Une bonne occasion de s’interroger sur les raisons de cette adoption.
Vous auriez pu évoquer les femmes qui utilisent la crypto pour payer leur avortement, dans un contexte où cet acte médical est devenu illégal dans plusieurs États américains.
Vous auriez pu parler du lobbying de la finance traditionnelle, qui ferme les comptes bancaires d’entreprises et particuliers utilisant de la crypto.

Mais pour cela, il faut effectivement faire des recherches ailleurs que sur X et Instagram. Il faut avoir le courage de ne pas se limiter à une critique facile des “crypto bros” en enchaînant caricatures et inexactitudes.

Non, la crypto, ce n’est pas un groupe de masculinistes musclés en débardeur.
Non, on ne peut pas “recevoir son salaire en bitcoin” (c’est interdit par le code monétaire et financier) et avoir un “problème de change”.
Non, Trump n’a pas “acheté une crypto en marque blanche”.
Non, les régulateurs des marchés financiers ne sont pas “commandés par Donald Trump”.
(Et j’en passe.)

On peut naturellement se moquer des communautés crypto et des memecoins… mais on peut le faire sans raconter n’importe quoi.

Je reste à votre dispo pour en discuter et vous montrer qu’on n’est pas tous des crypto bros ;)

On 26th of January at 01 PM UTC the KYC phase closes, together with the remaining initiatives to earn tickets (Creators Program, Challenges Portal, Pell Network users and xPortal Streaks).

2️⃣ Associated Wallet Address
Users have until January 27th at 1:00 PM UTC to update their associated wallet address (optional).

What does this mean? While users are required to use xPortal on the platform to complete their KYC, this may not be the primary wallet they wish to use for participating on xLaunchpad. This feature allows users to update their associated wallet address to options such as a Ledger, web wallet, or DeFi (extension) wallet of their choice.

3️⃣ Reclaim EGLD 🆕🔥
Until now, users had to reclaim EGLD from non-winning tickets together with the tokens from the winning tickets. This time around, users will be able to reclaim their $EGLD from non-winning tickets during the Lottery Results, one day after the tickets sale closes.

4️⃣ Upcoming Timeline
January 26th, 01:00 PM UTC: KYC + Initiatives close.
January 27th, 01:00 PM UTC: Associated Wallet Address close.
January 28th, 11:00 AM UTC: Tickets Sale open.
January 30th, 11:59 PM UTC: Tickets Sale close.
January 31th: Lottery Results + Reclaim EGLD non-winning tickets.
February: PELL tokens claim and DEX+CEX listings will be announced.
