Boulder County is under a RED FLAG WARNING today, Friday, due to gusty wind, high temps, and low humidity levels. Highest area of concern is the foothills. Today, no burning of any kind is allowed in unincorporated Boulder County. Please, no flames, sparks, or ignition sources.

The National Weather Service has issued a RED FLAG WARNING in Boulder County today, Wednesday, due to low humidity and high winds. The high winds will primarily be in the higher elevations. No open burning is allowed today. Avoid any outdoor activity that may cause a spark.

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, 9 AM to 5 PM Today. Winds West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Strongest winds in the foothills. Conditions will be conducive to the rapid spread of new fires.

The @nwsboulder issued a Red Flag Warning for a portion of Boulder County due to low relative humidity. There is an increased risk of fires starting. No open burning is allowed anywhere in unincorporated Boulder County today. This is the equivalent of Level 2 fire restrictions.

MVFR, Boulder Rural, Lafayette and Louisville are on scene of a structure fire in Niwot.. It is now out and no injuries have been reported. Cause of the fire is under investigation. Nice teamwork.
