We’ve been holding this one for a while…
Eastern Pacific Shipping has completed its second eSAIL® installation, now on the newbuild MR tanker EPS Pacific Sunstone in China.
🗣️ Mirtcho Spassov, Decarbonisation Manager of EPS: "Our experience with Pacific Sentinel demonstrated the operational performance and practicality of the eSAIL® system, making the integration of the technology from the outset on Pacific Sunstone a natural step.”
Huge thanks to @MaerskTankers, Njord, Yiu Lian Shipyard and EDR Shipyard, and to the entire bound4blue team.
First installation done and four more to go!

Not all weekends look the same, and ours came with cranes and sails 🏗️⛵
We’ve completed the first eSAIL® installation under our agreement with Maersk Tankers.
➡️Four 24-m eSAIL® units installed
➡️First of 20 across five MR tankers
➡️Two-step installation
We’ve installed another eSAIL®, this time on the vessel Fluvius Tavy owned by @AmasusEemshaven. Following the success of Eems Traveller, Amasus proceeded with a 2nd installation, now fitting a 22-metre eSAIL® - the largest suction sail installed on a general cargo vessel to date.
With independently verified savings of up to 40%, growing demand, and expanding production in Europe & Asia, our suction sails are taking centre stage.
2025 isn’t over yet… more milestones coming.💥

One of those milestones you don’t forget… 🚀
We’ve closed a US$44M funding round backed by leading shipping & climate investors. A strong signal that wind propulsion has shifted from “future tech” to one of the most scalable and immediate decarbonisation solutions in shipping.
🆕 Just days before Marintec, we’re announcing a major milestone.
We’re expanding our industrial footprint with new outsourced production capabilities and strategic partnerships in China - bringing our eSAIL® technology closer to the world’s biggest shipbuilding hubs. 🚢
⚙️ Up to 100 eSAIL® units/year from 2026
📍 New facilities near Shanghai & Yangtze River Delta
🤝Strategic partnerships with leading Chinese manufacturers
🚢Closer to key hubs in China, S. Korea & Japan
⏱️Faster delivery & smoother installations across Asia
🆕Our eSAILs® now carry an official seal of approval for compliance and wind rewards.
@lloydsregister has validated our methodology to calculate Pwind, in line with IMO guidance.
🚢First applied on the M.V. Atlantic Orchard (owned by Wisby Tankers and chartered by LDC). Now, shipowners can:
✅ Use the same methodology for future installations
✅ Comply with EEXI/EEDI & FuelEU Maritime
✅ Reduce regulatory costs
Big news! 🚢
BW Epic Kosan (BWEK) chooses our 24m eSAIL® for their LPG carrier Helena Kosan - our first LPG contract!
Non-ATEX design = safer & simpler install.
Fuel savings + emission cuts = wind works, even for LPG!
