@SugahFox though there was a subtle shift in his tone. It was softer, even if barely showed. His eyes flicked to the discarded rocks before landing back on her.
โItโs... appreciated. Better than most things people have given me,โ he added, looking away briefly. Not since 401.
@SugahFox Soul watched her with a blank expression as she tossed the other rocks aside. For a moment, he just stood there, hands in his pockets, feeling the weight of the rock she had given him.
โ You didnโt have to go through all that trouble, โ he said flatly, โ
@SugahFox glancing down at it briefly before slipping it into his pocket. Though he didnโt say much, a small part of him appreciated it.
โ ...Itโs a nice rock, โ he added quietly, almost as an afterthought.
@SugahFox Soul stared at the shiny rock in Candyโs hand, blinking once in silent confusion. He didnโt quite understand the gesture, but he knew it meant something to her.
He sighed softly, taking the rock from her hand with his usual indifferent expression. โ Thanks, โ he muttered, โ
@DictateReform โ Soul, โ he replied, keeping his tone measured. There was no need to reveal more than necessary.
The pleasure, however, was not a sentiment that could be echoed. He shifts his gaze over toward the lingering hand.
He silently declines.
@DictateReform He had always known that holding the entity within him was not without consequence. Still.. anyone who could sense ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ presence would have kept their distance.
Disturbance was putting it lightly. It was ๐๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ . โ
@DictateReform Soul met the Echidna's intense gaze with a stoic, unamused expression. He could feel the weight of that penetrating stare, an unspoken challenge that seemed to cut through the air around him.
He was not one to be easily unsettled, but this encounter was testing his resolve.
@SugahFox As she stepped back, he watched her with a mixture of longing and hopelessness. He wished he could give her what she wanted, but he was trapped by his own fears.
And so, he turned away, beginning to take his leave again... haunted by the memories of what once was.
@SugahFox He took a tentative step forward, but an invisible wall held him back. The truth was, he longed for things to go back to the way they were, too.
But the specter of ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ loomed too large, a constant reminder of the danger he posed. โ
