A perambulation is the best one I saw here. I had one come in the workshop - fuel starvation and basic service. I had never driven or worked on one before. Work went well - nice and straightforward. When it came to the test drive, I thought - oh heck - this will be truly hateful. But I had a blast! really suprised me how much fun it was once you got the knack of it - bit like an old beetle. Not fast, so just enjoy the ride. made a great sound.

The RNLI are being scapegoated and abused. They are a rescue organisation made up of volunteers, who go out when the rest of us are safe at home. Anyone who spreads bad will about the RNLI regarding illegal
Immigrants is not really considering the bigger picture - the issue lay with the govt and border force - not with RNLI, who are stuck in the middle.

Well said. Ive spent a fair bit of time on the sea, and only once come close to having to call out the RNLI when the boat engine died. Those who spend time or grow up in/by the sea know the truth about the RNLI's amazing work. It's these volunteers who go out to sea when the rest of us are tucked up warm in the pub.

Lets be very clear - the RNLI is an emergency service made up of volunteers. They go out when the rest of us are tucked up safe in bed. The RNLI is being abused and not supported properly in this issue - where is the Border force? Why are these people not being immediately returned to France? The problem is not the RNLI - it;s the UK Governments inability to sort the problem out.

Please focus on the real problem - not the RNLI. The RNLI are caught in the middle - they are pawns in this. They are a rescue service of brave and willing volunteers - they go out when everyone else is tucked up safe at home. Please do not focus on these volunteers. The RNLI is being abused in all this. It's not about the RNLI - it's about Border Force not being up to the job, and the politicians not having the stomach to do what they need to.
