Wow. Just wow. Can’t put into words how above @44ProCustom goes when it comes to taking care of people. They helped create this #autismawareness glove with my son’s name on it and the rust-eze logo from his favorite film. Looking forward to seeing this one of a kind glove!!
If I had to choose between my wife and watching Justin Bour hit tanks, I’d immediately choose Justin Bour in my mind but I’d act like it was a tough decision.
This #AutismAwarenessMonth , to every family walking this path: you’re not alone. We see you. We’re with you. And we love our boy exactly as he is.
We’ve never shared this before, but our son Jimmy is autistic.
He’s five, mostly non verbal, strong as an ox, freakishly athletic, might be able to hack your computer, and the funniest, purest little soul we know.
It’s an isolating experience from the start. I was on the other side of the world playing baseball in Korea when my wife got Jimmy’s diagnosis. She was scared — but she dove right in, learning everything she could to help our boy.
It’s been a long road. Lately some new treatments show promise for improving communication. Maybe one day my wife can share more. We have tons of hope
Please don’t say “I’m sorry” or “I don’t know how you do it.” We’re not sorry. We’re lucky. @HayleyMilon
